Access Denied to Kace MI download folders
Server v5.5.90546
Agent v5.5.30275
We have several MI's that I get Access Denied when I attempt to open the download folder. At the moment I'm having trouble with my Java installer and need to get into the download folder to read the log file; however, for all I know, the Access Denied is the route cause of the install failing. I've deleted the software out of Inventory entirely and started from scratch with the same results.
I cannot view the permissions or make myself the owner. At some point the folder seems to delete itself, but the Access Denied still has me wondering if even Kave/System doesn't have permission for installing.

This is caused by an agent bug with Metering. Please disable metering for that device (or completely) and this should get cleared up. This is a known issue, and is resolved in the upcoming release.
All you need to do to disable metering is go to your labels and disable which ever one you turned metering on for. - See more at: http://www.itninja.com/question/msi-install-bug-software-fails-upgrade-as-directory-can-t-be-read-until-reboot#sthash.YJ6CTrkt.dpuf
Now I just have to figure out why the Java.exe portion of my batch runs fine when I manually run the bat, but not when it's run as an MI. That's outside this thread, though.
Thanks again!
