Command line SCCM 2012 Task Sequence Step - Can I use a UNC path to install?

I am trying to run the below command as part of an OSD in SCCM 2012, I am trying to deploy a McAfee client. Is it possible to use a command line step to run an executable from a UNC path with some additional parameters to perform a silent install? Also the server the UNC path links to is not an SCCM server but a dedicated McAfee server so rather than packaging framepkg I want to install the latest version directly from the server.

\\myserver\packages\framepkg.exe /INSTALL=AGENT /SILENT

Thanks,

Tom

  • In terms of your environment, can you run a batch file with the command line, if so, use the following:

    %~dp0framepkg.exe /INSTALL=AGENT /SILENT - 786_ak 9 years ago
