Create reports based on Smart labels

I am using Kace 5.4 and have generatet smart labels to count licenced software and computer inventory. While viewing the smart labels you may select one or several smart labels -> click Chooce action -> Create report. it seems this only generates a report about the smart labels. Is it possible to create reports based on smart labels?

You should be able to create a report in the Reporting tab that includes machines based on what label they have, including smart labels.

To me it seems like it have to be done using SQL and I am no good at that.

  • Are you saying that if you go into Reporting, Create New Report and make a report with the topic of computers that you can't apply a filter where Label Names = something? - chucksteel 10 years ago
    • Dunno if I do something wrong but when I do Reporting -> Reports -> Add new report (Wizard) -> Give title, choose category and choosechoose report Topic -> I only get to choose fields to display -> Choose how to order the fields -> Add filters and save.

Is it where I may choose filter you mean? I imagined I could choose on of the smart filters I made and are under Home -> Label -> Smart labels. - MesaMe 10 years ago
      • I just realized that you're still using 5.4 so the reporting wizard is a little different. Yes, you should be able to use the filters when making the report. - chucksteel 10 years ago
