Deploying Microsoft Silverlight using Kace 1000

Hi there,

I am new to product K1000 and I am looking to deploy Microsoft Silverlight to our windows enviroment. I am totally new to this product and I wondering what is the easiet way to perform this deployment. It would be handy to use Kace but I dont see MSI package for Silverlight.

Any help would be great.

Silverlight is an msi package. You can extract it from %temp% location when it starts installation.

I'm deploying Silverlight with the K1000 using the following command.

Silverlight.exe /q /ignorewarnings /noupdate

Hope this helps.

  • I use 7zip to extract msi's so I can tell it what directory and then grab the files and either zip it all up or use the exe. I attached the exe to the software inventory and use the command above for the silent install. this is for Silverlight 4 - ckubaska 12 years ago
