How can I make a software install with a progress indicator when launched from the K1000 self service portal?

I have an installation task for Acrobat Pro DC 2018 that I duplicated and changed all the /qn to /qb. When I ran this from the self service portal from our K1000, it was completely silent. Is this a feature? Any way to change this behavior? I want to give our users a way to know when it is installed and ready for use. Thanks!

If you want a progress indicator like a bar graphic or a percent display, that would have to be part of the installer itself. If you want a simple "In Progress..." then "Finished" message then you can configure that in Managed Installs under the "Notify" heading. For Scripts, you would need to add the messaging to your task logic, using the "create a message window" (and "destroy a message window") option.
