How to remove certain applications from an Office 2010 Professional Deployment

I am deploying Office 2010 Professional Plus (Office 365 E3 Plan) to my users with Dell KACE and wanted to see if there was a way for me to change the deployment installation file so that it does not pass down some of the Office applications that my users do not need.  I am trying to remove Access, InfoPath, and Publisher so that it does not install these particular applications.  Does anyone know if there is a way to do this with Dell KACE?  Appreciate any input!

  • Thank you for your response, but the OCT will not work with the Office 365 Professional Plus package because it is not a volume licensed product. I have tried OCT, the deployment tool, Click-To-Run, Etc. I downloaded the administrative templates and copied the Admin folder to the Source folder and it errors out with a "Failed to get available product info".

I need to know if this can be done with the Office 365 MicrosoftOffice.exe file as I am unable to get this to work in any way. If anyone has done this or knows how to do this, your response is greatly appreciated! - kyatchak 11 years ago
