Install OS fails during scripted installation

I am trying to setup a scripted installation through the k2000 but I get a task error when I attempt to run it. I have tried using a virtual machine image and and ISO for the source media. Also the main purpose for this is to have a versatile image that I can put on any machine and choose what software I want to put on it depending on the circumstance, so if there if there is a different method I should be using any advice would be helpful.
Here are the details for the Task Error:
Task ID: 15
Task name: Install OSĀ
Return Code: 2
Error Description: The system cannot find the file specified

Please edit the machine using the options below and then retry the failed task or resume the deployment at the next task. In the case of serious errors, restart or shutdown the machine and boot back in to the SDA PE environment.

You are supposed to upload the source media using the "Kace Media Manager".

Read the admin guide to understand the process.

  • I do use the Kace Media Manager to upload the source media. - Nick_210 6 years ago
    • Are you mounting the ISO first and then uploading that? or are you choosing a folder containing the iso? - cserrins 6 years ago
      • I'm choosing the ISO folder. I have not mounted it, but I will try that. - Nick_210 6 years ago
    • Make sure you mount the ISO to a letter first, e.g. F:

Then on media manager target the F: alone, and that's it.

You could go to Library > Source Media, and look for the one you uploaded, check it's file size. - Channeler 6 years ago

    • Yes you must mount the ISO before you upload it.
Like I said ... Read the admin guide - akmagnum 6 years ago
