Is it possible to import Microsoft license information that comes from the Volume License website into Kace without too much reformating?

A Microsoft license has more than one key code so do you create a seperate entry for each?

  • Can you further define what it is you are trying to accomplish? Importing license keys as assets is quite easy. Microsoft even provides a CSV download option. - cblake 10 years ago
  • My goal was to import all of our Microsoft licenses so we could match the license count to actual installed programs from inventory. The only way I can see this will work is if you just create a final count of licenses instead of importing the individual license purchased licenses. - snosko@bhciss.com 10 years ago
  • You can import your license information, creating Asset Licenses with the appropriate entitlement really quickly and easily. The pain comes from the fact that at present you are unable to import which Software Catalog item the license is associated with, that will have to be added manually, which takes time - Hobbsy 10 years ago
