  • You just want a report of how many computers have Windows and Office installed? I'm not sure what level of detail you are asking the report to include. - chucksteel 8 years ago
    • Needing the report for MS True up, OS & Office, such as XP & 7, XP & 2010, Win 7 & 7, WIn7 & 2010, Win7 & 2013. Then I can export into excel and break it down by our 27 Locations. Thank you for your help. - rickhoskins 8 years ago
      • So you want something that looks like this:
        computer1 Windows 7 Office 2010
        computer2 Windows XP Office 2007
        computer3 Windows 7 Office 2013

Yes? - chucksteel 8 years ago
  • Yes that is what we need, then we can add location if we need. Again thank you! - rickhoskins 8 years ago
  • Chuck, were you able to come up with anything? - rickhoskins 8 years ago
    • Identifying the version of Office on computer isn't as trivial as I thought it would be. If you search the software inventory you can see that there are a variety of titles that will match most searches that try to identify just the Office suite. It might be necessary to label the titles included in the TrueUp report and create a report based on those labels. - chucksteel 8 years ago

The built in reporting wizard should be able to accomplish listing machine name, OS and version of Office for you.
