K2000 - KBE for MemTest

I have been playing around with the KBE Manipulator in an effort to create a new KBE for MemTest.  We had this on an old hardware version of the K2000 but it was not exported when we installed the new hardware.  I am not quiet understanding how to use the KBE Manipulator.

I have created new KBE's in the past, and I have tried to use the manipulator to add the MemTest iso.  The KBE Manipulator log shows that is was successfully uploaded to the K2000, but I don't see it anywhere.  Any help would be much appreciated!

K2000 version: 3.7

  • what version of the KBEM are you running, should be using 3.7.0.1 - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
    • I am using 3.7.0.1.

I ran the KBEM, entered the IP, SAMBA password, KBE name, x64. Then I went to File, -> Choose .iso to upload and selected the iso. After a few seconds it says "Your KBE has been uploaded successfully".

I don't see anything on the K2000 under Source Media or under Deployments -> Boot Environments. - KeithF 9 years ago
      • with 3.7 there is a log in the temp area, I will also ping the author of this app to see if he is around, he will have more insight. - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
  • I will look and see if I broke something in the .iso upload with the new version and report back.

    *update 1/21/15:
I did break uploading of custom .wim and .iso files. I will have a fix in the next day or two.

    • Thank you very much for your quick response and help! I don't have access to the log right now, but the only thing of note I saw in it was about not being able to unmount something. I can post the log shortly. - KeithF 9 years ago
