could be because the change adobe made at version 11.3 of bundling the versions

Beginning with 11.3, the universal 32-bit installer include the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Flash Player.

  • Thanks, I think thats it:

1 . Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 (Other Browsers) for Windows (Full/Upgrade) (All Languages)
    windows/x86/en/9241EDBE-F5B3-43D7-B659-4C842B7A6839.plp

    2. Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 (Other Browsers) for Windows (Full/Upgrade) (All Languages)
    windows/x86_64/de/9241EDBE-F5B3-43D7-B659-4C842B7A6839.plp

So only the german patch is 64bit?
    But how did this happen?

The subscription is for all Windows, german and english language. - Forodrim 11 years ago

I got it to work, it was a Bug in the Kace, got two fixes from Dell and now it is working.

  • Good to know. Did they link any support sites to you that you might want to share? - GeekSoldier 11 years ago
    • sadly not. I had a webex meeting with a dell support guy and he transfered the files directly to my computer.
      but the patches are:

5.4.76847 12573 : Fix for Multi Language Patches.
5.4.76847 12577 : Applying backward compatability to support 5.3 and 5.4 agents running patching.. - Forodrim 11 years ago
  • Good to know that the patches from dell took care of the problem and it wasn't the patch feed. - GeekSoldier 11 years ago

I know it isn't ideal to go about it this way, but whenever we've really needed to get a patch out I have created a Managed Install to get the job done. Flash is a relatively easy one to create. Sometimes doing this over one version can help the process going forward.
