Smart Label for Software not installed

I am trying to create a Smart Label to search all workstations for a piece of software that is not installed on the device and then have a managed installation install the missing software.

We are currently on version 13.0.383. I can create the smart label limiting it down to OS version, but when I add the line for Software Titles != softwarename it lists all the devices even if the software is installed or not.

Is there an easier way that actually works to accomplish this?

If you're using = or != (great practice, takes fewer server resources), make sure your software title search matches exactly what is shown in software inventory. For example, a smart label with the rule "Software Title != Chrome" will still include all devices with "Google Chrome" because "Chrome" is not the same as "Google Chrome".

For testing purposes, you can start with trying contains or regex matches rules, but know that too many of these running regularly will severely bog down your SMA.

Are you trying to search based on software version? There is a way to do that as well by starting with the wizard and editing the resulting SQL
