User LDAP Labels applying to everyone at login...
Since 6.0 upgrade, all of our User LDAP Labels are applying to everyone.. I even changed the search scope of one to an OU with only 1 user in it, and anyone who logs in while its active receives the label. Anyone heard of this behavior? It is screwing up...everything.

Just noticed that to? Have you submitted a ticket/bug report to support yet? - nshah 9 years ago

I did not, I was confused that there were no posts about it so I assumed it was just me.. I will get on it. - ais4ocho 9 years ago

Has the hotfix solved this problem for anyone? After applying the fix, the problem persists in our environment. Every LDAP label is assigned to every user. I've tried multiple variations on search strings and Base DNs with no success so far. - bmiller-tam 9 years ago

That's kind of a big bug. Yikes. We are holding off on the upgrade until a consolidated patch is released. - Jbr32 9 years ago

The KB article about this problem has been updated to include a workaround:
https://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=127638&status=Published
Basically using an LDAP query to populate a manual User label.
Edit: Confirmed with KACE support that they are still going to fix the issue, despite the work around being titled as the "recommended way" to do LDAP labels. No ETA was available.

Has the hotfix solved this problem for anyone? After applying it, we still have the same issue. Every LDAP label is applied to every user. I've tried multiple variations on Base DN and Search Filters, but the result is always the same. - bmiller-tam 9 years ago

Answering my own question. Discovered we were using KBOX_USER in our filter instead of KBOX_USER_NAME. Changing that solved the problem. - bmiller-tam 9 years ago
