Where is the old Appdeploy MSI Error Reference info

I used the error code search on the old appdeploy site (http://www.appdeploy.com/msierrors) almost daily because it had the best info and suggestions. There are others (http://www.hiteksoftware.com/mize/Knowledge/articles/049.htm) but they are not even close to the same level that appdeploy had. The link now no longer works. I see on the front page of ITNinja that it says all the same info. Well could you point me in the direction of the old MSI Error code info? Thanks

I believe it is under Topics - Windows Installer.

  • That doesn't have any of the same info. Just a bunch of people asking questions. The appdeploy page had all the error codes listed and I could search for the specific ones I get in my deployment programs. - DeaDraug 12 years ago
  • The google cached site: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:UfafH4kED4UJ:www.appdeploy.com/msierrors/+&cd=1&hl=da&ct=clnk&client=firefox-beta

Has references to eg.: http://www.appdeploy.com/msierrors/detail.asp?id=11 which forwards correctly, but the main page of msi errors does sadly not. - Erroneus 12 years ago
  • There are a few valuable AppDeploy pages that weren't migrated initially. This MSI post will be restored with all the links on it updated (it failed our data migration process due to its complexity). The old /techhomes are also valuable pages that haven't been moved yet. Coming soon. I'll report back here when the MSI error reference page is restored. - blink21 12 years ago
  • So, I lied. It *is* on ITNinja. But it's still chock full of appdeploy links - which should happily redirect until I get around to replacing them with new ITNinja links. http://itninja.com/question/what-does-this-msi-error-mean - blink21 12 years ago
  • Thank you! That is what I was looking for. Good luck on the database conversion! - DeaDraug 12 years ago

The error reference is still not fully migrated, some of the links are bad. On it!
