Atlanta, Georgia – August 1, 2002 -- The Atlanta based application service provider, AxiomSI, has announced a name change. The company will now be called OuterBounds Technologies, Inc. with its website address being www.outerbounds.com.

The name change better reflects the companyÂ’s expanding product and service offerings, which span the reach of a broad technology spectrum, distinguishes brand identity and signifies corporate expansion into Europe in 2002. Once a pure play ASP, AxiomSIÂ’s offerings have grown to include IT outsourcing, ISV application hosting solutions, and PC-Lifecycle Management including Electronic Software Distribution, creating a complete end-to-end service offering.

Furthermore, it’s becoming increasingly important to develop strong brand awareness that has global recognition,“ said Dr. Wolf J. Gaede, the board’s Co-Chairman . “Our Board of Directors, which consists of American, Canadian and European directors, is very aware of the fact that the term “Axiom” is used widely throughout the world in different name combinations. As a result, it was decided that it would be beneficial for AxiomSI to undergo a name change as we are in the process of expanding our organization abroad.”

The company was named “ASP of the Year” for 2001 by UUNet/WorldCom and has grown to become one of the largest ASP partners utilizing Citrix® MetaFrame® software.
