Microsoft Office Automation

The other day I was asked to create a new package for Microsoft Office 2013. Knowing the commands were probably the same as Microsoft Office 2010 I created it packaged and put it up in the software console. But come to find out no workie on Windows XP. Should have known better but fine. I figure most who had Office 2003 would want to and install Office 2010 but the problem remained that uninstalling 2003 was going to be chore since its not that command friendly in my opinion <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

So after some searching I located a Microsoft tool called LISTOOL.EXE does a great job at caching the files on the local machine.

After you create a batch file using LISTOOL.EXE you can then use your normal setup.exe /adminfile standard.msp and install Microsoft Office 2010.

Zip all them up no fuss no muss problem solved.
