Slowly connection on the user portal of the k100

Hello,

I have a problem with the user portal of the k1000.

When a user connect in the user portal for write a ticket, the connection is very slowly it take around 5 minutes.

What can I do to remain for this problem?

  • If you are using LDAP, I would check to see if you have extra servers listed under Settings> Control Panel > User Authentication. You shouldn't have any servers listed there that aren't configured for your environment. KACE offers three examples and if you create a new one and it's at the bottom, the KBOX will start with the first server listed and work its way down and that takes a time out process. Move your configured server to the top.

    Think of it as firewall rules. The server configured for LDAP to allow people in with the admin role in the KBOX should be at the top and then lower roles after, finally ending with the configuration that brings in everybody with a user role.
