5.3 K1000 Message Boxes

Hi,

I want to push software out to users via the K1000 "Scripting" tab and the "Run now" tab. What I want the script to do is pop up a message box with a time out, if the user doesn’t do anything by the time it times out it does the install, if they click OK it does the install.

I have coupled the create and destroys message windows, but with 5.3 it either does everything in the script with no pause, or after downloading the script it does nothing. This was working when the server/agent was 5.1 but appears after I have upgraded to 5.3 it is broken. Anyone else getting the same, or has this working and how ?

Thanks in advance ...

I've ran into a similiar issue on my test machine. Running a online kscript when I prompt the user and press cancel, it installs anyways. Snooze did the same thing.

After updating from 5.3.47927 to 5.3.53177 it resolved this. I know it's not the same exact issue, but it could be related.

From the release notes:

1817: Snooze/Cancel alerts are broken for online KScripts and patching. Scripts and patches always run regardless of user input.
