Activating Patches with the API

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to activate patches with the KACE API? Basically we have loads of old patches we need to push out to rather than activate everything, I would rather activate what is required. So I am working on getting this information currently but as you can imagine there are a lot of KB's which need activating in the appliance. So if they are active already just move on but if they are inactive then activate them.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks

James

The API does not have the functionality to work with the patching feature.

More information about the API can be found here.

James, surely all you need to do is create smart labels or labels of the patches you require and push them to the devices in the standard way? If you set all your patches to automatically activate, carrying out a detect and deploy will only push the patches required
