Advertised Shortcut

Hi

I need some guidance!

I created an MSI using Appdeploy repackager (latest version).
Its being deployed via group policy-type of deployment is user config, assigned.
I want an advertised shortcut on the users desktop so they can install themselves.
I modified the msi using ORCA so that a shortcut does appear and install when clicked but my issue is that the shortcut icon is missing, only the generic (unknown file type icon) is showing. How do I get the apps actual icon to show?

what i have modified in Shortcut table (in bold):

shortcut directory name component target icon iconindex

Shortcut0 ProgramMenuFolder application application.EXECOMP WIFEAT00000001 Icon1 0
Shortcut1 DesktopFolder application application.EXECOMP WIFEAT00000002 Icon1 0

note:columns: argument, description, hotkey, showcmd and Wkdir are empty.

added in Feature table (inbold):

Feature feature Parent title description display level directory attribute

MSIFeature MSIFeature 2 1 INSTALLDIR 0

WIFEAT00000002 MSIFeature app advertised shortcut 1 16
WIFEAT00000001 MSIFeature app advertised shortcut 1 16

added in Featurecomponents (inbold):

WIFEAT00000002 application.EXECOMP
WIFEAT00000002 application.EXECOMP

modified in components (in bold):

component componentid directory attribute keypath

application.EXECOMP {20F9BF1D-93C2-4E8F-9B3A-17C54DC00839} application 8 application.exe

note: column condition is blank.

Regards
