Any issue with deploying version 6.0 on the K1000 only?
I'm sure it will be no issue however must ask - can we upgrade the K1000 to ver. 6.0 and not upgrade the K2000 at this time?

The K2000's current release is 3.6
Are you at that release? TO my knowledge there is no new release for the K2000.
