Audio Drivers not working
Hi All I'm having a on going issue here. Currently while imaging Dell Laptops/desktop using the image part the headphone jack doesn't work. I noticed one thing is Wave maxxaudio is installed under apps and when i go to uninstall it it brings be to program and features its not there. even when i download the correct from the website it doesn't do anything. When I use scripting image which puts mint OS I'm able to install the correct driver and wave maxxaudio isn't installed. I the headphone jack switches. I'm assumed it was that the correct driver pack wasn't installed and that's not it. I installed the full driver pack and rebuilt the Kbe and still the same issue. It seems like that the wave maxxuadio and realtek driver that is being installed is causing the issue. When you reboot the pc with headphones it works but when you disconnect and reconnect it doesn't work. Cause the issue be that driver be installed were in the image? or what could it be

Instead of injecting the audio drivers for that problematic model, try to install the audio driver as a post-install task, targeting that problematic model.
I understand doing that because i go to the dell website and manually install it. but that doesnt work.

The onscreen display software for the all in one units. If you don't have aio units then you don't need it. - flip1001 3 years ago
i dont have AIO. so what could the issue be

like i said when the computer images it puts a realtek audio drivers and wave maxxudio app that i cant removed
