Babylon 8 license issue

Hi,

The application requires  license key to be entered, and the license is provided.

But when I capture and install the msi it says license expired..on Windows 7

Can anyone help please?

  • Less than 5 minutes spent with ProcMon will show you where the license details are written, be that a file or a registry entry. - anonymous_9363 10 years ago

Make a response transform out of the Babylon msi and you will discover some properties needed to declare the license path and others. Or you can also install the MSI with a verbose logging and then pick up the properties needed. It is up to you. I already gave you a hint. ;-)

  • Hi, the license needs to be entered after the shortcut is launched..So I am unable to capture that part - ankita_g29 10 years ago
    • That is what I am talking about. Once you have known the MSI Property, you will know where to put your license and this license will be automatically fetch by Babylon 8 and you will never have to show to the users that license prompt anymore. Is this how you want to achieve? - dj_xest 10 years ago
