Beta 2 Repackager

I just downloaded the Beta 2. I have a fresh machine with Xp Sp2, and i run the Repackager and i am installing a program called FirstClass our e-mail client, but when it gets to the building of the MSI the Repacker has a green bar all the way across but nothing happens i never get to click finish and i have no MSI in the specified file. I am going to try it with another app today but i was wondering if this was happening to anyone else.

Actually, this post is quite old and refers to 1.0 Beta 2. The very latest (as of 6/26/2009) can be found here: http://itninja.com/question/gnu,-freeware-and-shareware-programs-to-cloning9225

I found the issue and it was in sending the MSI that the repackager creates back accross the network to the setup server i use. Insted of saving the file to the network share i created a new folder on the desktop of the clean machine and save the MSI to the local machine and it worked without error. Still need to test the MSI but it is build i will keep you posted.

I actually encountered this myself, but had trouble reproducing it (even with all files to be local). I think the problem had to do with the exclusion process, but seems fixed in the final build I'm working with. I'm doing some last minute testing on the final release-- with any luck I'll have it up today!
