Bomgar uninstaller policy

Is there any other way than using the uninstaller policy. It seems through a policy it does not uninstall. Very frustrating, we're trying to remove Bomgar from our clients and replace it with Teamviewer 10.

Any help is appriciated!

Regards,
Ekkerd.

If you look in the application's software inventory item, you should see an uninstall string.  If not, you may have to get that from the vendor, but you should be able to run a kscript to uninstall.

  • Hello Jknox,

Thank you for you answer. I do see the uninstall string, I then made a uninstall policy for bomgar button 14.3.1, which I then execute on my computer via Local System. The log only says it checks if a registry value is true and thats it. No uninstall command is being run if the value is true. - Ekkerd 9 years ago
    • I'm not a huge fan of the uninstaller policy. I would suggesting using the uninstall string in a kscript. - jknox 9 years ago
      • Alright, thanks. I'm gonna try this out, will let you know. - Ekkerd 9 years ago
