Bootable USB flash drive

I am trying to create a bootable flash drive for one of my system images but when I build the image it never gives me to opportunity to download the ISO. I let it run and check back and refresh the page periodically and instead of giving me the option the download the built ISO it just logged out completely out of kace2000. Has anyone else run into this issue? I am on the latest version of kace2000.

  • Do you have enough free Space? (check the dashboard pie chart)
Is that a K-Image? (those images can't generate a USB bootable file, only WIMs)
Is that a multi partition image?

NOTE: the SDA does NOT generate ISOs, it's a ZIP file, you need to download it, unpack it, and follow some instructions via CMD or Powershell while the target USB driver is connected).

Check the Administrator's Guide, OR read this very Good Guide with bunch of screenshots:

(yes for UEFI, two USB drivers are recommended) - Channeler 3 years ago
  • I have enough free space about 130GIGS and the image is a WIM and a single partition image. I was using that same guide the only issue is that my stuff keep auto kicking me out of my session 1hr or 2 and never get the zip the download. - gerroe 3 years ago
  • you could attempt a graceful reboot and restart the process or contact support. - Channeler 3 years ago
    • I've tried the reboot route, looks like I am going to have to contact support. - gerroe 3 years ago
