Can't launch the MSI file created by AppDeploy Repackager
Hi,
I just downloaded AppDeploy Repackager 1.1
I installed it without any issues. I created a "before" snapshot; executed the installation program; and
finally created the "after" snapshot. It created the MSI file as expected. However, when double clicked on
this MSI file, The "Windows Installer" screen flashed on my screen for about one second. It then disappeared and nothing would happen.
Can you help and let me know if I did something wrong or omitted any step? I did not get any error while
running the before and after snapshots.

The installation is assumed silent so this is not abnormal. Check your application event log to verify that the installation completed and if it was successful.
Also, there are a number of fixes in the latest beta release so I recommend using this: http://itninja.com/question/faulttree-103060

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I did discover that the installation was silent. I was expecting some user dialog boxes just as in the
original installation. This actually turns out to be good for me. I can package this MSI into a custom
application install.
