Creating a form with pre-populated fields in KACE

Hi All

Is there a way to create a form inside K1000 with a role dropdown and it populates what that role requires? This will not be a field within kace or a standard ticket but a process template that users can select

Sure, if you know what you need you can just template it in data fields and use a ticket rule to drive it

There is no way of providing “dynamic” drop downs in KACE, if that is what you are looking for. Both Custom SQL and ticket rules rely on saving the ticket and working from the ticket data. So if you want a drop down to be selected when the ticket is being logged and that in turn changes the options in a second drop down, the only way you can achieve that is by saving the ticket so the data is saved and a ticket rule can run.

I’ve been trying to work out a way to do this for almost a decade, but have no answer.
