Custom Action In MSI
Hello Guys,
I have a requirement to run a SFX file from MSI custom action which is kept in the same directory of MSI.
Since the file is too huge, I do not want to include that in the MSI, instead need to execute the same from MSI custom action. This has to be a deferred CA for the SFX file to unzip to %PROGRAMFILES% directory.
I am aware of setting a property value in CA and calling that property in other CA to execute the file, but this doesn't work for a deferred action since the install script cannot access the value of the property.
Kindly advise how I can achieve this.
