Dedicated VDI Assignments not assigning
Hey folks,
I'm having an issue with some recent VDI deployments for some reason our VDI machines will no longer assign users to themselves. We've got it set to enable automatic assignment as well as use dedicated assignments, but for some reason they simply don't assign entitled users! We can manually assign users, however that results in the VDI locking up after so long and not becoming usable until after the user resets it.
I've given it a cursory google and haven't come up with any results close to what my problem is. I'm hoping the experts here at IT Ninja might have had an similar issue.

The userinit.exe was missing the extra line for wssm.exe in the registry! I fixed that, recomposed and it assigned me to a VDI right away! Thanks folks! http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1028975
Nevermind! I ended up finding it the system was display warnings "The pending session on machine <Machine> for user <user> has expired" After a search on that I found a knowledge base article.
Sure enough the userinit.exe was missing the extra line for wssm.exe! I fixed that, recomposed and it assigned me to a VDI right away! Thanks folks!
