Scripting Question

Dell Command Update

11/14/2016 2756 views
Is there any way to run the Dell update program on all of my computers at once? Can I use the dell command suite or any 3rd party programs? I have the program to not run or check for updates unless I want it to. I want to be able to run this updater at a time when it will not affect working hours without setting automatic updating.

Go to Scripting -> scripts and make a new script.

Type: Online KScript

Give it the proper credentials

On Succes: Add "Run a batch file"

Give it a name

Batch file: start /d "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\CommandUpdate\" dcu-cli.exe

select Wait for completion

test it on your computer and if it works roll it out to all computers (i use labels for this to target only dell pc's)
