Dell PERC Notifications
Hello Ninjas,
I am new to the community we are in training currently!
We are liking all the info and feed back the K1000 has access too!
I would like to collect Notifications from the PERC controller on my servers, the end result would be getting a Notifications if a drive in the array failed.
Has any one set this up or had any experience collecting any Notifications from the PERC?

you have a few possibilities to do this:
1. if the system as a iDRAC configure it to open a helpdesk ticket with any problem (this is at the machine level, so no OS is included)
2. if the system is running a supported OS install the Open Manage Server Administrator (only the instrumentation services, the full webserver is not nessesary) and run a script regulary to pull info or configure the tool to behave like Number 1 (this is at the OS level, so the OS need to run)
3. Enable SNMP on iDRAC or OS and collect the traps.

DELL servers are able to do that on their own.
Remember the Kace works at OS / Windows level....
Do you have any way to collect that information via Windows? Or OS?
Perf sounds like BIOS level... I don't think the k1000 agent will be able to help
