If it is a windows patch i would reccomend using software Updates in SCCM.

If it is a non-Microsoft software update (such as Java, Flash, Firefox, a MS hotfix etc.), then use SCUP to import the update into your WSUS catalogue and then deploy it as a software update through Config Manager.

You could also clarify what product you are trying to patch and the version or installation package method. EXE, MSI, MSP, MSI + MST, etc.
