Does anyone know how to export database & import into a SQL program like DBeaver for running some testing SQL

I read somewhere that the k1000 backup Incremental backup is what I would need to download to have an exported copy of the database..

I extracted the file but do not know what all is needed or how to import into a SQL program like DBeaver..

Does anyone have any knowledge??

The best way to work with the Kace database without hurting or altering it is to use DBeaver or Microsoft Workbench. This allows you to login to the DB and test queries. You are not able to do any updates of any kind which protects the database. A major benefit of this is the ability to save your queries which besides testing for new business rules you can also use to build dashboards in Power Bi or some other dashboard tool. You will need your ip address to the database and your root access password. Once logged in you should see all your tables and can see all the fields by clicking on any table. Here is a link for downloading MS Workbench MySQL :: Download MySQL Workbench

J years ago before I really got into SQL I used to use Access to look at the KACE database, that gave me an option to either look at or copy down all of the data, that may be an option??

You would then have the data and be able to convert, upload or whatever you needed?
