Enable/Install .NET framework 3.5 Windows 8 post installation task

HELP!!  I'm not sure how to go about this, I have read a little about wsus offline, but windows 8 isn't supported

There are also more websites with information about how to enable .net 3.5 with scripts.

  • You can create a GPO that enables "add windows features" to have access to windows update. This is necessary because in windows 8 the machine will access windows updates to recieve the latest binaries for the feature you are adding. My guess is you have Windows updates disabled now because you have KACE or some other tool managing patches.
