Excel 2007 Add-ins shown in different language

Hi all,

We're rolling out Office 2007 at the moment (I know, rather late...) and have some bizarre behaviour with Excel add-ins. Our rollout is initially the English, international version of Office, after which we deploy the language packs ("MUI's") for Dutch, French and German. All seems to work fine, users are able to change their language settings as expected, but we have now discovered that some of the Excel Add-ins are shown in the language of the latest installed language pack (in our case: German) by selecting "Excel Options", then "Add-Ins", then clicking the "Go" button at the bottom of the screen.

No matter to which language we set Office, the following Add-ins are always shown in the language of the language pack that got installed last: Analyse-Funktionen ("Analysis Toolpak"), Analyse-Funktionen - VBA ("Analysis Toolpak - VBA"), Teilsummen-Assistent ("Conditional Sum Wizard"), Nachschlage-Assistent ("Lookup Wizard") & Solver ("Solver Add-in").

The two other Add-ins that are shown in the original (English) language are: Euro Currency Tools & Internet Assistant VBA.

I did a test with a manual install of Office 2007 and installed the French language pack as latest, and yes: the Add-ins mentioned above are now shown in French. So some Add-ins automatically seem to be set (fixed) to the latest installed language.

Anyone had this issue as well and knows how to correct this behaviour? Your input is greatly appreciated!

We've got the same problem in our environment - but I can't tell you how to resolve it.
But you're not the only one with that problem ;)
