Hi Folks,

I'm doing update of one application which is installing files under the current user profile.

Requirement :- application-01 the file xxx.xml within the userpart should be updated manually during the test
before running the update. And after that the file shouldn't be deleted.

Steps followed.

1. We installed the base application-01, the files will be installed in the admin user. Once we repair it through user\
profile then files will be installed under current user profile. we made some changes to xxx.xml files after the repair.

2. Now we tried installing application-02 which is an update for application-01. But the files and folders which were there under the user profiles getting deleted.

In the application-02 Msi we tried by giving File hash, under component attribute we gave
128(msidbComponentAttributesNeverOverwrite) but the still the files and folders are getting deleted while doing an update


Can anyone help on this....
