Forticlient VPN only silent install?

I am trying to install the FortiClient VPN only on our KACE 2000. I am able to install the files, but am still prompted for options (meaning it isn't silent). Could anyone help me out with this? Right now the parameter is -

 FortiClientInstaller.exe /silent /verysilent

  • With our VPN client software a config file is required with the .exe to configure the software. Maybe your software also needs one? - DirtySoc 6 years ago

What happens when you run the exe file from the command line to acertain which vendor switches are valid?

Examples -

exe /?
exe /h
exe /help

Also have you checked during install for the presence of an MSI which is extracted during install (C:\temp,  C:\users\<username>\appdata\local temp) etc.

I searched around some more and was able to find this

https://video.fortinet.com/video/78/how-to-create-a-custom-forticlient-installer-v5-0

This will allow you to create a custom installer with the VPN only feature. It also allows you to create a config file to customize your install. You need a Forticlient Licence in order to do this.

Cheers!
