Has anyone tried an unattended install of Dragon Upgrade to work

Ive been talking to Nuance and they seem to be having a hard time getting this to work as well.

  • Are you referring to an upgrade of Dragon NaturallySpeaking? - five. 5 years ago
  • Yes correct it Is the upgrade file. I get it to launch but it does not continue on with the install. It sits and waits for the me to hit next, which I don't want it to do. Ive tried /passive /quiet /QB /QN /I. None of them seem to do it. - bpaquett 5 years ago

I haven't installed it personally, it's not in my environment, but have you looked at any of these resources:

In the admin guide, they have a pretty extensive guide for doing a silent upgrade. Starts on page 126. Have you tried all of these resources and still not having any luck. What specific step are you having issues with?

Give this a try:

ServicePack.exe /S /v"/qn"

I believe that the /S is what sets the installer as silent (and is case sensitive).  The /V is what is enabled the following switches - "/qn" to be passed to the extracted MSI installer.
