Has anyone worked on the packaging of ACL desktop client 9.2.3?
I created the mst from ACL desktop client 9.2.3. I tried to install it. It created the shortcut and installed. But while trying to run the installed application it says "ACL cannot verify the software activation key. A file may be corrupted. Please repair the ACL installation:in the windows control panel, add/remove program, select ACL 9 and then click change". Help please

What is happening when you repair the ACL installation through Add/Remove program..

Does it install and work fine when you run the MSI. If it gives you the same error then you need to fix the issue and add that functionality in your MSI.

wHAT is the source provided ? Is it the vendor msi itself or a a msi embedded in a exe file. Is the source installing fine ? If its an exe with an msi being called internally , can u install the msi standalone. If yes then, does it have any differences when compared to the exe installation ?
