Help needed with uninstall_flash_player.exe /clean

[align=left]We are using the tool uninstall_flash_player.exe with the switch /clean as described in the article:[/align][align=left]http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402435#[/align][align=left]When running this the uninstall of 9.0.124 as well as for manually installed 10.0.22.7 works as supposed and im able to install the 10.0.12.36 version (that we are trying to distribute to replace 9.0.124)[/align][align=left] [/align][align=left]The problem is that i need to run the uninstall_flash_player.exe in silent[/align][align=left]mode since we can´t have popup windows that need user interaction before logon on ~25000 clients. so i have tried to run the command with the following switches: uninstall_flash_player.exe /clean /s That will provide me with a silent uninstall BUT when the flash player 10.0.12.36 starts to install it hangs, when connecting to the computer from remote i can see in the installation log for Flash player that its halted with the message: "The version of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version" My conclusion is that if i use the /s switch the /clean switch is not executed. How to run a uninstall_flash_player.exe /clean in silent unattended mode?[/align][align=left] [/align][align=left]Or if someone knows a nice way of answering the popup questions by script or in another way so that i can run the file with /clean only without the need of user interaction.[/align][align=left] [/align][align=left]Any information in this matter will be helpful.[/align]

is there really a need to use this method? IIRC the upgrade table takes care of previous versions pretty well. In the time I've been with this client we've gone from 9.x to 10 (most recent rev)

Try this: ..\uninstall_flash_player.exe /silent /clean
