How do I prevent K1000 from distributing software and patches when a tablet is on mobile internet?

Hi There,

I was wondering if I can prevent K1000 from distributing software and software patch when a Windows 10 tablet is connected through a mobile connection (4G or 3G)?
I use K1000 version 7.
Clients are Dell Latitude 7275 with Window 10 Pro.

Best regards,

Ron Beugeling

You will have to use smart labels to assign labels to machines based on their IP address. You may need to create a smart label that applies to machines on your corporate network and only run patching and distribution based on those labels.

Thank you,Chuck.

I will look in to it and test it.

Last night I was thinking of another option and that is to block traffic from k1100 to the IP range of our service provider.|
But then I still have a problem when a VPN connection is established.

I will et you know how it works out.

Best regards,

Ron
