How do you pass the TeamViewerID from a custom inventory rule to the managed action item?
I would like to utilize TeamViewer instead of RemoteDesktop, Dameware, VNC, or Bomgar which are included with KACE K1000 server version 5.3.53053. I have a custom inventory rule collecting the id number but do not know how to pass that value to the K1. I am sure its possible but just how?
Are there documented steps anywhere to create a custom KACE environment variable?

I don't believe it's possible by default. It's been suggested as a feature request in the past: http://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-k1000/suggestions/2538874-team-viewer-machine-action
There is a customization that KACE support can do to have it pull the TeamViewer ID as a variable, but it's not something that would be free.
Alternatively, you can configure TeamViewer to use IP addresses instead of the ID. p. 23: http://www.teamviewer.com/en/res/pdf/TeamViewer7_Manual_RemoteControl_EN.pdf
The machine action command would look something like this:
%path%\teamviewer.exe -i <KACE_HOST_ID> --Password <Password>
