How to disable the 'check for updates' , 'get plug ins' and register tab in Autodesk Design Review 2008

it doesnt install directly on clicking the tabs it opens new windows to give installation functionality.. any suggestions..

Check for updates can definitely be done at the registry level. REGEDIT and go to that particular location under HKLM\Software\Appname and look for update key and manipulate.

Autodesk generally come with their own customization tool. Did you get any documentation along with the product which will tell you how to customize it.

Otherwise if it is an MSI then there would be a property to disable the check for updates.
