How to extract setup without actually installing it?

Is it possible to extract any setup without installing?

Answer

You may be able to use the admin install switch to extract the contents /a.  Also you can open most installs with 7-zip and browse thru them.

Answer

A simple solution, clean the %TEMP% folder, run the setup and when the setup is extracted grab it from temp folder.

But first use the 7-zip. If you can't extracting with 7-zip, use the first method, is always work for me.
