How to resolve immediate uninstallation after silent installation
Hi friends,
I am working on IBM WebSphere Tranformation Extender (SDK) 8.3 version application.
For this I have recorded installation(Created setup.iss file) and installed silently with setup.iss file
But after installing application with iss file immediately it's getting uninstalled with IsUninst.exe
Am unable to suppress this uninstallation
Can anybody please help me out with this issue. Why it's happening and how to resolve this..?

I'd remake the response file on a machine that had nothing installed beyond the OS and the drivers - unless you did this in the first place?

Is your packaging machine affected by GPO's or any other management tool? An ISS file only records your keystrokes during the execution of the SETUP.EXE, so there's no way to launch an uninstall from an install ISS. Something else is kicking off the uninstall process. - vjaneczko 10 years ago

Yes, in the .iss file there is nothing related to uninstallation process. It's a clean machine only no other tools were running.
