I would use the Export-DefaultAppAssociations Command....to export the default apps from a computer

you have configured to your liking.

Then use Import-DefaultAppAssociations...to import to all the computers you want,

This should be scriptable with the K1.

The solution akmagnum mentioned works in cases where a user has not yet logged in to that device and had a profile built.  Once a user's profile is built the only "Supported" method is to set default associations via domain policy.

do you have experince publishing this default file association file to computers via kace?

I created a script with the xml file and tried to put it in windows\system32 but kace is not doing this it acts like its done it but nothing changed.
