I am trying to deploy and patch this PC , b

When I am goig to program the patch 




I am using a Backup Kbox , Maybe I have a bad configuration in My settings.

    • it may have something to do with client ssl if you have 2 kboxes

    but in my "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE\ " do not exist these files"winapplications.ospx

You said it's a backup Kace you're using. Does it have the same License Key installed or is it on trial?

You can not have 2 Kace with same License Key running. If your license is not valid patching will fail to get new patches downloaded to your kace.

other things to check:

if you use replication shares make sure it has everything replicated and is accessible by the test pc

clear C:\ProgramData\Dell\Kace\Patches on the client and force an inventory scan of the client

check the logs in C:\ProgramData\Dell\Kace\User for any clues about errors

you might enable debug mode on said client to get more information from the logs (enable debug, kick of scan and deploy job and check the logs after the job completed or failed)

  • Hi, I am not using a trial version, It is a backup, I have tried making with scripts and distribution, but I cannot carry out patching
