I'm trying to locate pst files on each users computer, these files are going to be moved to another location

Does anyone know how to find out who has pst files located on their computers?

  • Use a lookup in a script and run as system (for all users) or current user (for the one user).



    Many - probably in the Documents\Outlook Files folder (default location). Anything saved outside of this location would be missed.

    More - Combine the above method and use registry for the user profiles to look at attached PSTs - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23800571/registry-key-to-find-pst-locations

    All - Run a scan on some or all directories for the file type you want. - mtatro 3 years ago
