I'm trying to locate pst files on each users computer, these files are going to be moved to another location
Does anyone know how to find out who has pst files located on their computers?

have your tried a custom inventory?
you could use a search command like: dir /b/s *.pst
Otherwise the Quest Desktop Authority solution has a beautiful way of configuration outlook and the location of the local files :)

No I have not, can you give me some guidance on how to setup the custom inventory? I have over 3,000 computers in our inventory that I need to look at. - bigpappi1317 3 years ago

I started using Custom Inventory recently, and I believe should be as simple as adding the given cmd prompts in the first answer into the ShellCommandTextReturn.
1. Navigate to Inventory>Software>Choose Action>New
2. Name and classify the rule as needed. Typically, adding a "CIR" in front of the name makes it easier to find later.
3. Select the operating system(s) that the rule needs to run on.
4. Under "Custom Inventory Rule", enter:
ShellCommandTextReturn(dir /b/s *.pst)
5. Click Save.
6. As systems start to check in and update inventory, the custom inventory rule should start adding the list of .pst files under Software>Custom Inventory Fields - for each PC.
Anyone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong. However, if you do test it out. Please let me know if it worked or not. - ranchristian 3 years ago-
